Stephen Hall is an award-winning director with extensive experience across scripted television, branded content, and commercial production. He has directed over 200 episodes of television and more than 350 commercials for clients across North America and internationally.
Stephen’s scripted credits include Rabbit Fall (APTN), Risk (Channel 5/Showcase), 2030 CE (YTV), Renegade Press (APTN), and Smart Woman Survival Guide (W Network). He co-created and directed 65 episodes of the HGTV hit series Designer Guys and directed two seasons of CBC’s Street Cents, which received an International Emmy.
Internationally, Stephen wrote and directed the Caribbean-based series Last Chance for Romance (13 episodes, shot in St. Lucia and Jamaica). He also directed successful pilots for Guinea Pig (Discovery) and Take This House and Sell It (W Network), and has written and directed multiple short-form scripted projects including the psychological thriller Mephisto Says.
Stephen brings a distinct visual style, strong storytelling instincts, and production efficiency to every shoot—scripted or commercial.
He is a Director member of the Director's Guild of Canada (DGC)
